What has my UJ experience been like so far?
 
As a U.S. Fulbright Fellow this year, I am thrilled to be teaching part-time in the Department of English Language and Literature. I have felt so welcomed at the University of Jordan; my supervisors and all the professors and staff I’ve met have been so helpful and kind.
 
From taking me to the university bookstore when I couldn’t find it, to meeting with me early in the morning before classes to share syllabi and resources, to answering my many emailed questions; the English department faculty and staff have all been amazing. Also, before this year most of my English teaching has been in K-12 settings, and I am really enjoying working with university students and learning more about students’ academic and professional goals.
 
I have been so impressed with the diverse interests and talents of my students. I feel so lucky to get to be a part of the JU English department this year!
