I am a student from Taiwan and my name is Meng Han Lin. I have been studying the Arabic Language for 4 years at Cheng-Chi University in Taipei, and I wanted to learn the Fusha and slang Arabic. That’s why I chose the University of Jordan. Jordan is a safe country and the Jordanian people are wonderful and have a deep-rooted history.

After 2 months of attending lectures at the Language Center at the University, I can say that it’s the best place to study Arabic. Firstly, at the center there are 7 levels and the number of students in each level is less than 15 students, which allows us to talk, discuss, and practice the language easily, and leads to a better communication between the student and the teachers and enhances the study experience.

In addition, the lectures at the Language Center are varied, and without the efforts of our teachers we wouldn’t have progressed so quickly within few months. We enjoy the lectures so much, especially the listening and the colloquial Arabic lectures.

I think the students and the lecturers at the University are considerate and supportive; they accept us and encourage us to exchange opinions and views on international news issues, which is a remarkable experience to help understand the differences between cultures.
