Center for Women's Studies to launch radio program

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Center for Women's Studies at The University of Jordan (UJ) is launching a new talk show via UJ Radio to addresses issues of women and society.
 
The radio show complements the objectives of the center in making a positive impact on the society with respect to human rights and women's issues, said Dr. Abeer Dababneh , the Director of the Center for Women’s Studies.
 
The program will be open to direct calls from listeners, and will be hosting specialists to discuss major social issues. The show will be also receiving opinions through the center’s page on Facebook.
 
The radio program will be broadcasted live every Wednesday via the University of Jordan Radio (94 FM) from 4pm until 5pm.
 
The center’s alumni, Dima Karadsheh, Lena Garzawi and Haifa Haider, will be hosting and preparing the program.
