Launching the "Electoral Charter of Honor"

The Vice President of the University of Jordan for Training and Community Service, Dr. Musa Al- Lozi, has launched this morning the "Electoral Charter of Honor”.
 
The charter reflects the visions and aims of the student body regarding the participation in the Student Union elections based on democracy and responsibility.
 
Al-Lozi expressed his pride and confidence in the students of the university who chose certain policies and programs that are not only based on the best practices, but also reflect how democracy is applied at the university.
 
Al-Lozi directed the students towards cooperation in order for them to contribute to holding the responsibility of advancing the electoral process.
 
Al-lozi highlighted His Majesty King Abdullah II’s directives aimed at encouraging the university students to adopt democratic values and the culture of dialogue and respect for the others.
 
The charter includes certain provisions that involve practicing democracy with all sincerity and responsibility; giving the vote for the most worthy intellectually and humanely; fighting rumors; helping the disabled students as they move around to perform the duty of voting and continuing the normal activities at university during the elections period.

Moreover, The Students Initiative Office launched the “Vote Rationally” initiative that is according to the office director, Neda’a Zaqzouq, aims at increasing the importance of the students’ participation in the electoral process and choosing the right candidate to represent them.
