Master’s program of Environmental Technology and Climate Changes launched

A new Master’s program in Environmental Technology and Climate Changes has been launched on Monday during a workshop organized by The University of Jordan and the Hashemite University within the MAPEC project (Master’s programmed of Environmental Engineering and Climate Change project), a Tempus project funded by the EU.

 

The Master’s program aims at turning out professionals in the interdisciplinary fields of environment and climate change, General Project Coordinator , Prof. Ahmed Al-Salaymeh said during the workshop’ opening session.

 

According to Al-Salaymeh, the program is launched in the Hashemite University and the German Jordanian University as well.

 

Moreover he added that 22 students are now enrolled in the program at UJ, ten students in the Hashemite University and 20 students at the German Jordanian University.

 

Partner institutions involved in the MAPEC project include Hamburg University of Technology and Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe - University of Applied Sciences in Germany, University of Innsbruck in Austria, Instituto Superior de Paços de Brandão (ISPAB) and Paulo & Beatriz - Consultores Associados in Portugal.
