Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) Assistant Executive Director, International and Professional Affairs, Prof. Mike Rouse, recently visited UJ’s Faculty of Pharmacy.

The visit aims to examine the faculty’s compliance with accreditation standards for the purpose of certification.

ACPE is a US-based agency for the accreditation of professional degree programs in pharmacy.

Rouse met with Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Rula Darwesh and a number faculty members, with whom he examined a number of issues pertaining to accreditation.

The expert also lectured on international accreditation and quality standards and toured the faculty and the university.  

According to Darwesh, the visit was fruitful and will pave the way for the faculty to obtain international accreditation.

In addition, Rouse met with UJ President Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh and presented his after-visit suggestion in the presence of Dean Darwesh, head of the faculty’s accreditation committee Dr. Amal Al Bakri, and Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center Dr. Faleh Sawair .
