Former PM Abdul Salam Majali Lectures at UJ

On Tuesday, former Prime Minister Prof. Abdul Salam Majali was invited to UJ and delivered a lecture under the title of “the fortification of the internal front of the Jordanian state".

 

The event was organized by Prince Al Hussien Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies in cooperation with the Jordanian Political Science Association.   

 

Former Minister of Education Dr. Izzat Jarradat and former head of the Public Security Directorate Retired General Fadel Ali Fhaid also took part at the lecture.

 

During the lecture, Majali stressed the need for concerted efforts in Jordan in order to shield the country against the regional turmoil and its repercussions.

 

Majali stressed the need to continue the political and economic reform processes and to promote justice among the Jordanian people while maintaining the security and stability of our homeland.

 

He also referred to the role of the Jordan Armed Forces (Arab Army) in keeping the nation's security and stability, calling for supporting the army to continue in its role.

 

The lecture was moderated by Prof. Amin Mashaqba, and attended by all of UJ Vice President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah, Dean of Prince Al Hussien Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies, and senior officers at the University and members of the Jordanian Political Science Association.
