Exhibition Showcases Cultural Heritage of 22 States Held at UJ

Students from 22 Arab and foreign nationalities took part at the 10th International Cultural Heritage Exhibition organized by the International Student Affairs Office, Deanship of Students Affairs, at UJ on Wednesday. 

The three-day event showcases a collection of traditional dresses, jewellery, desserts, handmade items and pictures of each of the 22 countries, in a step to introduce UJ students to different world traditions and cultures and to build cultural bridges between students from different backgrounds.

UJ’s Acting President Prof. Azmi Mahafzeh inaugurated the Exhibition in the presence of UJ officials and a number of cultural attachés and members of the diplomatic missions in Jordan.

The participating countries are Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, Sudan, Yemen, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Iraq, Palestine, Turkey, Brunei, Indonesia, Thailand, China, India, Kuwait, and Morocco.
