UJ and Brigham Young University Renew Bilateral Agreement

UJ and Brigham Young University (BYU) signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday, April 17, renewing academic collaboration between the two institutions.

 

The agreement was signed by UJ president Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh and BYU president Prof. Kevin Worthen.

 

The agreement includes cooperation on academic exchange and the exchange of scholars, faculty members and students. The two parties shall also continue collaboration on joint projects, research, workshops and conferences.

 

Prior to signing agreement, Tarawneh held a meeting with the American delegation, attended by UJ Vice President for Scientific Faculties Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and Deans of the faculties of Law, Nursing, Archeology and Tourism and Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II School of International Studies, in addition to the Director of the International Relations Office.

 

During the meeting, Tarawneh briefed the guests on the latest developments at UJ.

 

In turn, Worthen uttered pleasure to renew the agreement and continue cooperation with UJ.

 

BYU is a private research university located in Provo, Utah, United State. It is one of the largest private universities in the united states.

 

First signed in 1994, the agreement between the two institutions was also renewed in 2005 and 2013.
