UJ Examines Cooperation With PFUR

UJ’s Acting President Prof. Azmi Mahafzeh on Thursday, April 20, meet with a delegation from People’s Friendship University of Russia (PFUR).

 

The two sides addressed possible cooperation scenarios in various disciplines, particularly engineering and medicine.

 

Areas of  cooperation may include exchange of faculty members and students, and collaboration on joint research, projects and scientific events.

 

The delegation provided a detailed presentation on PFUR’s collages, institutes, programs and specialties.

 

Mahafzeh, in turn, expressed UJ’s keenness to develop cooperation with PFUR and formalize such cooperation through a memorandum of understanding between the two parts on areas of mutual interest.

 

In turn, the delegation expressed admiration on UJ’s rank among its peers in the region, uttering PFUR’s full willingness to collaborate with UJ.

 

The meeting was attended on the Russian side by PFUR’s Vice Rector, Dean of Medical faculty, Deputy Dean of Engineering Faculty, and Director of Russian Cultural Center in Amman. Dr. Nazzal Armouti, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and Dr. Rami Ali, Office of International Relations Director also attended the meeting on UJ’s side.
