UJ Students Light Candles for World Peace, Denounce Terrorism

Hundreds of students lit candles at UJ on Sunday, June 28, to call for world peace and denounce terrorism and extremism.

 

The candle-lighting event, which was organized by the Student Union, took place in front of UJ Library and was attended by UJ Vice president, Prof Azmi Mahafzah.

 

Candles were sold to the participating students and the proceeds will be distributed to needy families in several regions of the Kingdom.

 

The event aimed at spreading awareness among students against terrorism and extremism and promote world peace.
