The University of Jordan’s (UJ) council of deans on Monday decided to postpone the implementation of its decision to make lecture days four days a week instead of five.
The council said the decision is aimed at giving faculties a chance to conduct more studies and prepare suitable lecture schedules. Moreover, it said the Centre for Strategic Studies at UJ will conduct a study to reschedule the subjects.
The council had previously decided to make Thursday a break, making attendance days four instead of five to give students more time to study, take part in extracurricular activities and undergo field training.
