The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah received in his office on Monday a Chinese delegation from the Institute of Islamic Studies in Linxia, Gansu province.
The delegation, headed by the institute’s president Prof. Hasan Bin Ismail, examined with Prof. Mahafzah ways to set up academic cooperation with UJ.
They also discussed the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding to enable Chinese students to complete their undergraduate studies at UJ.
Bin Ismael briefed Mahafzah about the institute which was founded in 1978 and has nearly 4000 students studying Islamic sciences and Arabic language.
