The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah received in his office yesterday the Korean Ambassador to Jordan Lee Bom-yon. Mahafzah stressed the need to strengthen cooperation between UJ and the Korean academic institutions.

The  two sides discussed ways to enhance and increase academic cooperation with Korean higher education institutions.

 
The meeting was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Prof. Adnan Smadi and Director of International Relations Dr. Rami Ali.

25 students from Korea are enrolled to study Arabic at the UJ Language Center during the second semester of the academic year 2015/2016. Also, 10 other South Korean students are continuing their university studies at UJ in the bachelor, masters and PhD levels.
