Friday, July 22, has marked the end of a week-long celebrations at the University of Jordan (UJ).
The 51th graduation ceremonies were concluded after 8847 students have received their degree certificates in the midst of their families and friends.
The awarded certificates include 6969 bachelor degrees, 99 vocational diplomas, 21 Higher Diplomas, 1443 master's and higher specialization degrees, and 315 PhDs.
The ceremonies were broadcast live via the Graduation Ceremony Media Website.
Celebrating their commencement to a whole new phase of their lives, the proud students attended the ceremonies with aspirations to a better future, realizing that UJ graduates are among the most employable in Jordan.
According to statistics issued by the Admission and Registration Unit; 41.64% of the graduates were rated as “excellent” and “very good”, while 35.66% of them were rated “good”.
UJ has graduated more than 214,000 students since its establishment in 1962.
