The 2nd International Conference on Electronic Publishing Over Cloud and Mobile Technologies” (ICEPUB 2016) kicked off at UJ on Tuesday, July 26, under the patronage of UJ president Prof. Azmi Mahafzah and the participation of 200 scholars from all over the world.

The conference aims at bringing together researchers, academic scientists to share their experiences and discuss the most recent trends and challenges in the field of E-publishing along with their implications for academic publishing, information services, e-learning and other areas.

The purpose of the conference is to promote academic and scientific E-publishing, and raise the level of scientific research in the context of Cloud and Mobile technologies.

Spread over two days, the conference will discuss 22 scientific papers in seven themes, including electronic publishing, cloud computing, and mobile phones , legal and ethical aspects of technology, as well as office information systems, smart systems, and information security.

A round table on the issues and challenges of cloud computing and a workshop on the future of digital libraries will be held on the sideline of the conference
