School of Nursing Holds Open Day for Psi Kappa Chapter Members

The School of Nursing on Saturday organized an open day to celebrate members of Jordan Chapter of the Honor Society of Nursing/Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI), dubbed Psi Kappa Chapter.

 

Dean of the School Prof. Manar Nabulsi said the aim of the event is to inform faculty members, students, and professionals in the nursing sector on the importance of the Society and why they should join.

 

During the event, head of the Charter Dr. Amani Khalil, spoke about the Chapter, explaining its mission, objectives, benefits of joining and services provided to members.

 

The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) is an international nursing organization with 500 chapters in 90 countries, and approximately135, 000 members.

 

STTI's mission is advancing world health and celebrating nursing excellence in scholarship, leadership, and service.

 

The event included academic lectures and entertaining activities.
