German Parliamentary Delegation Visits Foreign Languages School, Announces Scholarships

A German parliamentary delegation headed by MP Manfred Zolmer visited the University of Jordan (UJ) School of Foreign Languages last week.

 

The delegation was welcomed by the School's dean Prof. Mahmoud Shura'a.

 

The delegation announced the availability of scholarships through the International Parliamentary Scholarship Programme which are presented to Jordan in collaboration with Free University of Berlin and a number of German universities.

 

Shura'a, who briefed the guests on UJ's history and the German Language Program offered by the school, extended his sincere appreciations for the scholarship opportunities.

 

The delegation also met with the students in order to explain about the International Parliamentary Scholarships. The meeting was attended by the German cultural attaché in the presence of the Chairman of the Department of European Languages and faculty members from the German Language section.
