School of Foreign Languages' First Semester Graduates Celebrated

The School of Foreign Languages on Thursday, February 16, held a ceremony to celebrate 2016-2017 first semester graduates as part of the University of Jordan’s (UJ) 52nd graduation ceremony.

 

In his remarks, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Shra’ah, the School's dean, said plans are now underway to launch a new undergraduate program in translation, in addition to another PhD program in cooperation with Kent University.

 

He also spoke about the friendly and fruitful cooperation between the School and foreign embassies and cultural institutions in Amman.

 

Al-Shra’ah congratulated the graduates and their relatives and wished them a bright future and successful careers.


 
At the end of the ceremony, Al-Shra’ah handed over the graduation certificates to the 232 graduates.

 

The ceremony was attended by UJ Vice President for Humanities Faculties Prof.  Ahmad Y. Majdoubeh.
