UJ Honors Public Security, Gendarmerie Directorates

The University of Jordan (UJ) President Professor Azmi Mahafzah on Thursday, April 20, honored the Public Security Directorate (PSD) and General Directorate of Gendarmerie (GDG) in appreciation for their efforts and constant cooperation with UJ.
The two directorates were recognized for their contributions to educating youth on various issues and promoting the values of good citizenship among students through lectures, discussions, and other public events.
Inspector-General, Major General Daoud Hakoz accepted the University's shield of honor on behalf of the Public Security Directorate.
Moreover, UJ President Professor Azmi Mahafzah alongside with Maj. Gen. Daoud Hakoz presented the University's shield to Commander of the Capital Region Brigadier General Obaidullah Al Maaitah and representative  of the General Directorate of Gendarmerie Colonel Ashraf Al-Omariyeen.
Professor Mahafzah also honored the Director of the Northern Amman Police Colonel Dr. Ali Al-Zu'bi, Deputy Director of the Capital Directorate of Gendarmerie Colonel Yusuf Alimat, and Head of Al-Rashid Police Station Colonel Faisal Al-Harrahsha.
Other members of the Preventive Security Force, Criminal Investigation Department, Public Security Directorate, and General Directorate of Gendarmerie were also honored during the ceremony.
