Four Schools Celebrated Graduation on Saturday

The Third day of the University of Jordan's (UJ) 52nd graduation ceremonies took place on Saturday, July 8.
 
927 graduates from the Schools of Shari'a, Business, Foreign Languages, and Archeology and Tourism received their degrees during the ceremony.
  
Dean of the School of Shari'a Prof. Mohammad Alkhateeb handed over degrees to 186 undergraduate students.
 
In a statement after the ceremony, Alkhateeb said that the School has students from 40 nationalities, revealing that construction work on the School's new building will begin as soon as the designs are ready.
 
In turn, Dean of the School of Business Prof. Rifat Shannak said that School will continue to develop its programs and expand cooperation with the private sector, as well as the process of obtaining international accreditation.
 
While handing out the degrees, Shannak congratulated each of the 479 graduates and whished them success in their future lives.
 
On the other hand, the School of Foreign Languages celebrated the graduation of 347 students in the presence of the School's Dean Prof. Mahmoud Al-Shra’ah and the teaching staff.

In his statement, Al-Shra’ah shared highlights of the School's future plans, including the establishment of a new graduate and undergraduate program in translation.

While handing over the degrees to 101 graduating students, Dean of the School of Archeology and Tourism Dr. Maysoon Al-Nahar wished the graduates great success in their career.

Al-Nahar said that the School is in the process of renovating the Sweifieh church in Amman, in addition to conducting new archeological excavations in the city of Jerash.

The ceremony took place at UJ stadium and commenced with the entry of graduates and faculty members on the sound of the university anthem and amidst a remarkable presence of the graduates' families and friends.
