2017 Graduation Ceremonies Concluded

The University of Jordan (UJ) on Sunday, July 9, concluded its 52nd graduation ceremony with the commencement of the Schools of Educational Sciences, Arts, Physical Education, Law, and Arts and Design as well as Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah School of International Studies.
 
1171 students received their degrees with aspirations to a better future, realizing that UJ graduates are among the most employable in Jordan.
 
Dean of the School of Educational Sciences Prof. Saleh Rawadeya said he handed out degrees to 326 students.
 
Highlighting the School's accomplishments and future plans, Rawadiyah stated that the School will be launching two new doctoral programs in the fields of education - Education technology and Educational Leadership - at the beginning of 2018 and 2019 academic years.
 
On the other hand, Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II School of International Studies has graduated 52 students.
 
After the ceremony, Dean of School Prof. Abdullah Nagrash uttered his pride of the graduates, calling on them to apply what they have learned for the good of their homeland.
 
Dean of the School of Law Prof. Fayyad Al-qudah, handed over degrees to 180 students, congratulating each one of them on this achievement.
 
Al-qudah expressed Keenness of the School's staff to continue building on the achievements of the School and its students.
 
In turn, Dean of the School of Arts Prof. Ghaida' Khazna-Katbi stressed in her statement after graduating 380 students from 7 departments that students are the main focus of the teaching and learning process.
 
Dean of the School of Arts and Design Prof. Ayman Tayseer said 95 students from 3 departments have graduated on this day, stressing the School's important role in providing a well-educated artists to the local society.   
 
With regards of the School of Physical Education, 187 students have been awarded their degrees, said Dean of the School Dr. Khalid Attiyat. He added that the School will continue to strive to produce professionals who are highly competent.
 
The ceremony took place at UJ stadium and commenced with the entry of graduates and faculty members on the sound of the university anthem and amidst a remarkable presence of the graduates' families and friends.
