The University of Jordan in Aqaba (UJ Aqaba) on Monday, July 17, celebrated its 5th graduation ceremony under the patronage of UJ Aqaba President Prof. Musa Al Luzi.
 
More than 300 undergraduate and graduate students from five faculties celebrated their achievements in presence of their families and friends.
 
In his commencement speech, Prof. Al Luzi congratulated the graduates on their achievement, and called upon them to build on what they have learned at the University, urging them to work hard to achieve their dreams and serve their country.

 

Thanking the University's partners and supporting organizations, Al Luzi stressed UJ Aqaba's keenness to continue to promote its role as a key player in the development of the Aqaba zone and the surrounding area.

 

The graduation festivity was held at the Prince Hamzah Stadium in Aqaba and started with the entry of the graduates and faculty members. The ceremony rites began with the Royal anthem followed by a recitation of verses from the Holy Qur'an.

 

The event was attended by senior government officials, faculty and staff members at the University, and the graduates' families and friends.
