UJ, Tkiyet Um Ali Sign Cooperation Agreement

The University of Jordan (UJ) on Thursday, July 20, signed a cooperation agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali (TUA), ushering in a new phase of cooperation between the two sides.
 
The agreement aims to involve UJ students in charitable programs conducted by the organization, and to contribute to raising awareness about the importance of volunteerism.
 
The agreement was signed by UJ Vice President Prof. Imad Salah and TUA Director General Samer Balker.
 
Under the agreement, a number of charitable events will be conducted on campus in support of TUA’s programs.
 
The agreement reflects the social responsibility adopted by UJ towards the community.
 
Prof. Salah commended TUA’s efforts to serve underprivileged citizens.
 
In turn, Balker highlighted the significance of building partnerships with education institution, to promote the spirit of social solidarity among students to create a generation that believes in the role of volunteerism.
 
As part of its sustainable program, TUA currently supports 25,000 underprivileged families in Jordan.
