Initiative Launched at UJ to Spread Social Awareness among Students

A new student targeted initiative that aims to spread awareness and educate students on current threats facing the society has been launched at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Tuesday.
Dubbed "Beware", the initiative was launched under the patronage of the President of the Senate Faisal Al Fayez and in presence of UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah, vice presidents, and other senior government officials.
The initiative aims to warn students of dangers facing the society, such as violence, hate speech, and drug use, in addition to intellectual security, information security, and cybercrime.
The launch included a video presentation that explains the objectives of the initiative, in addition to three interactive dialogue sessions, addressing extremism, drugs and doping usage, and information security and cybercrime.
