School of Business Hosts 'CSR In Action 2018'

The School of Business at the University of Jordan (UJ) is hosting the activities of the training program 'CSR In Action Jordan 2018' with the participation of 60 students from UJ and other universities.
 
The program, which is taking place from 16-23 January, has been launched at an event at the School on Sunday in presence of the Vice President for Centers and Community Services Affairs Prof. Musa Al Lozi, and a delegate from the UAE embassy in Amman.    
 
The interactive program is held for the first time at UJ in partnership with Al Ahli Holding Group's social responsibility division CSR.
 
The program aims to develop the skills and capacities of Arab youth and help them develop social responsible projects and more sustainable leading practices for their communities.
 
The eight-day training program, which is taking place at Zain Innovation Campus – ZINC, will provide training and exchange of best  corporate social responsibility (CSR) and social enterprise ideas and practices, then help participant create their own projects for social impact. Also, a competition will be held at the end of the week to select the best project.
 
CSR In Action was first launched in 2011 in the UAE, and has been held in UAE, Jordan, UK and Lebanon.
