A seminar to highlight the aspects of His Majesty King Abdullah's latest meeting with a group of University of Jordan (UJ) students was held on Sunday at the Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II School of International Studies.
The seminar was organized by the "Hamna Watana" student initiative, with the participation of the Minister of Youth Bashir Rawashdeh and UJ President Prof. Azmi Mahafzah.
Al-Rawashdeh said that the king's visit to UJ demonstrates His Majesty's great believe in empowering and supporting young Jordanians.
He added that higher education institutions and the government are major partners when it comes to the improvement and development of youth capacities.
The Minister also spoke about plans to strengthen cooperation with universities to open further communication channels with students to learn about challenges facing them and means to expand youth political participation.
The seminar was attended by a large crowd of students and faculty members from all faculties.
