The president of The University of Jordan Dr. Abdelkarim Alqudah met with a delegation from the Jordanian- American committee for Fulbright student program. The Committee consisted of: Program Director Ashely Gimp, and the Director of the Fulbright institute Alan Mcnamara.

 

Alqudah confirmed his support during the meeting for the cooperation with the Fulbright institute. He also confirmed the importance of cultural exchange for university students that helps shape their personality and expand their horizon.
The Director  for the Fulbright program Alan Mcnamara said that the program has helped many from students to teachers achieve their dreams; they have had the chance to either study or conduct research in prestigious universities in the United States of America.

 

Mcnamara added that they are fully prepared to execute any new visions that the University suggests under its president Alqudah.

 

The vice president of Humanities Schools affairs Ahmad Majdoubeh presented a proposition to have a booklet made to document the relationship that goes back to the sixties of last century between both parties.

 

In conclusion, Mcnamara praised the staff of The University of Jordan, and expressed his pride in dealing with the university.
