Turkish Delegation Visits UJ

The University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Abdel Karim Al Qudah received a Turkish Delegation headed by Dr. Ali Erbaş, President of Religious Affairs.


Mr. Murat Karagöz, the Turkish ambassador to Jordan accompanied the delegation in their visit.


 

The visit aimed at discussing Jordan-Turkish relationship and examining ways to develop further cooperation in fields of academia and Islamic sciences.


At the meeting, Al Qudah briefed the delegation on the history of the University, its achievement, faculties and programs. He also talked about the continuous academic and cultural cooperation between the University and the Turkish embassy.


For his part, Dr. Erbaş highly commended the University's comprehensive approach to higher education. In addition, he brought to light the potential of cooperating with the University through Mevlana Exchange Programme which aims at the exchange of students and teachers between the Turkish higher education institutions and higher education institutions in other countries.
