The University of Jordan (UJ) and the Dutch organisation SPARK on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in motivating entrepreneurship among the youth, developing their various skills and broadening their horizons.

In a statement carried by the Jordan News Agency, Petra, the MoU calls for cooperation between the signing parties in promoting and enhancing the concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship among university students, as well as facilitating research-based learning experiences to improve pioneering education through training.

The MoU was signed by UJ President Abdul Karim Qudah and SPARK Country Manager Haneen Khatib. As part of their cooperation, the UJ and SPARK will be organising training courses given by entrepreneurship experts to prepare university students to create small and medium-sized businesses and to train university faculty.
