UJ Hosts TEDx 2019 to Inspire Youth Discover their Potential

Under the Patronage of the Minister of Culture and Youth Dr. Mohammad Abu Rumman, the University of Jordan (UJ) hosted a TEDx event featuring a panel of seven distinguished speakers from Jordan. 
 
Haneen Khateeb, who started playing football at the age of 11, played at the National team and is currently working at “Madrasati” as sports for development officer, presented her experience as a sports lady.
 
The second speaker was Khaled El Ahmad, an entrepreneur, content & communications consultant. He is the founder of a number of businesses and a partner in many other. He created the social media department at Zain Jordan, and is currently the senior social media manager at the company.
 
Entrepreneur Moath Fauri spoke about his interest in business development. He is the founder of Astrolabe coffee house, and is currently studying for an MBA at the German Jordanian University.
 
The 25 years old Saeed Qaffaf was the fourth speaker, he is a software engineer and a disability rights activist on social media and a motivational speaker.
 
Carol Rabadi, spoke about her journey as one of the first female pilots in Jordan and the Arab world. She has an experience of 10 years as a captain and is currently working for the Royal Jordanian Airlines.
 
The sixth talk was by  Mohammed Musa,  a multi-disciplinary visual communication practitioner and academic in graphic design, photography, traditional & digital art. Musa has led more than 30 workshops, seminars and courses nationally and international.
 
Khaleel Al Zyood who was the seventh speaker, has a PhD in Education Family and an Educational Consultant Scholar in Human Relationships.
 
The organizers were a team of UJ students led by Lubna Al-Mousa, Omar Binu and Salah Qawasmi, under the supervision of Dr. Lina Al-Hiyari from the Center.
 
The event saw the attendance of a large crowed of students, staff and interested persons.
