A group of the University of Jordan (UJ) students implemented a new initiative named “we read together, rise together” under the supervision of Dr. Raafat Al-Zabin, as part of the compulsory course (ethics and human values).

The aim of the initiative is to encourage and revive the culture of reading among students and visitors of UJ.

The initiative, implemented by ten students from section 20, represents an external free library, through which the students can read, share, and exchange books on campus.

UJ President, Prof. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah, admired the idea, hoping that such initiatives will continue to inspire everyone and play a valuable role in consolidating the visions and aspiration of the University.
