3rd International Conference on Sports Sciences Kicks Off

The third international conference on sports sciences, entitled "Healthy Lifestyle and Physical Activity in Light of the Covid-19 Pandemic," kicked off Tuesday morning under the patronage of the University of Jordan (UJ) president prof. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah.
 
The conference is organized virtually by the School of Sports Sciences at the university in cooperation with official bodies and in partnerships with international universities from the Arab world, USA, Australia, Germany, Malaysia and Japan.
 
In his remarks at the opening session, Al-Qudah said that the event "is an opportunity for researchers from different parts of the world to exchange scholarly knowledge and practical expertise in the field and to stand on the importance of a healthy lifestyle in light of the ongoing coronavirus disease outbreak".
 
Dean of the School of Sport Sciences, Prof. Khaled Atyat, said the conference focuses on some recent topics in the field of sports sciences and physical activity and its reflection on the various aspects of life, including the psychological, social, physical, physiological, medical, economic, educational, and technological aspects.
