UJ Radio Takes Part in National Celebrations

The University of Jordan (UJ) Radio station (UJ FM 94.9) took part in the national celebrations marking the anniversary of the Great Arab Revolt, Army Day and the anniversary of His Majesty King Abdullah’s coronation, through a series of on-air talk shows and broadcasts.

 

The two-day celebration included hosting several national and military figures, retirees and veterans who talked about the most important national attainments since His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein assumed his constitutional power as king of the Hashemite Kingdome of Jordan.

 

The talks also highlighted the sacrifices and heroism of the Arab army for the nation so as to achieve the concepts and principles of the Great Arab Revolt.

 

In the first day, the broadcast started from 11 am until 2 pm with the participation of Dr. Muhammad Abu Rumman, Dr. Bakr Khazer Al Majali, Dr. Ghazi Al Raba`a, Dr. Saad Abu Dayyeh from the university, in addition to Senator Dr. Ghazi Al-Tayeb, MP Ayman Hazza Al-Majali, Dr. George Al-Tarif, and retired engineer Lieutenant Colonel Muhammad Ali Zuhair Al-Ajlouni.

In the second day, UJ Radio continued to broadcast from the Jordanian Armed Forces Hotel, with the participation of UJ President Prof. Abdul Karim Al-Qudah, a number of military figures, veterans and some members of the martyr' families.
