UJ, AJYC Discuss Cooperation

The University of Jordan (UJ) President Professor Nathir Obeidat received in his office on Sunday the CEO of All Jordan Youth Commission (AJYC) Abdul Raheem Zawahreh Abdul Raheem Zawahreh, Commission Coordinator Othman Al-Abadi, and a number of volunteers from UJ and other universities.


During the visit, which aimed at discussing ways to develop and further areas of cooperation between the two parties, Obeidat commended the active and influential role played by the Commission and its volunteers and its participation in the various events held by the university, and as a real and significant partner in building the capacities of Jordanian youth.

 

All Jordan Youth Commission (AJYC), which works under King Abdulla II Fund for Development (KAFD), was established in 2006 as a recommendation of the All Jordan Youth Forum  to communicate with the Jordanian youth and encourage them to contribute to the development of their communities, raise the intellectual and creative capabilities and develop the initiative spirit among young people, activate the communication channels with young people to read their views and positions on national issues, engage young people to participate in political, economic, social and cultural life, and promote and regulate the process of engaging young people in productive voluntary work.
