Under the patronage of the University of Jordan (UJ) President, Professor Natheer Obeidat, the First International Conference on Online and Blended Learning (1st ICOBL 2021) took place yesterday with the participation of scholars from Jordan, Palestine, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Germany, and Spain.
UJ Vice President, Professor Ahmad Majdoubeh, deputized Professor Obeidat in the inauguration ceremony of the conference, which was organized by the Open Educational Resources and Blended Learning Center.
The ceremony was attended by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mamoun Al-Debi'e, and Assistant Director of Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions, Dr. Saad Bani Muhammad.
The conference discussed 15 research papers on subjects related to new trends in interactive, cooperative and innovative approaches for online and hybrid learning in higher education.
