The Language Center at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Tuesday organized an open day for international students enrolled in the Arabic for Speakers of Other Languages Program (ASOL).
The event, during which students presented national dishes of their countries, is held annually and intends to enhance interaction between UJ's international students, local students, and teachers.
Local students also presented popular Arab and Jordanian dishes with an aim to introduce the international students to the local food customs and cultures.
Moreover, the event saw other activities such as the screening of a film on Arab culture, performances from the Jordanian heritage, as well as competitions.
