The University of Jordan (UJ) has recently welcomed 26 international exchange students from 13 universities as part of the Erasmus Plus Mobility Program of the European Union for the academic year (2022-2023). The students come from 7 countries: Germany, France, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Spain, and Japan.

The International Affairs Unit held an orientation day for the students, in which students from the International Students Network (UJ-ISN) took part. The event included a presentation by UJ-ISN member students about life in Jordan and the university, their experiences, and services and facilities exchange students can benefit from throughout their studies.

Each year, the International Affairs Unit provides many services and facilities for exchange students starting from their arrival until their departure, including a reception ceremony, accommodation, insurance, residency permit and assistance in selecting courses.  The Unit also organizes cultural activities such as trips aimed at introducing Jordan’s culture and events that provide opportunities for cultural exchange among the students.
