The University of Jordan's (UJ) Chemistry Department has launched its second festival of chemistry with the support of the Jordanian and American chemical societies in Jordan under the title "Chemistry Protects Our Health".
The festival, which was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Schools, Professor Inaam Khalaf, included scientific experiments displays carried out by chemistry department students in cooperation with their counterparts in other public and private schools.
The event also included presentations by some chemical industry products companies.
On the sidelines of the festival, the Department organized a graduation ceremony for students of the academic year 2019/2020 at Wasfi Al-Tal auditorium, during which certificates were handed to the graduates, and distinguished students were recognized. The festival’s sponsors were also recognized during the ceremony.
