Associate Professor of English Literature and Cultural Studies at the School of Languages at the University of Jordan in Aqaba (UJ Aqaba) Ayman Abu-Shomar, has been announced among the finalists of the UK Alumni Awards 2022-2023.
The finalists of the Award were announced during the ceremony held by the British Council in Amman.
Ayman has received a PhD in English from University of Exeter, and MPhil in Philosophy of Arts from University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
His principal research interests are English literature, cultural studies, contemporary literary theories, post-colonialism, diaspora, and dialogism.
