The Students Counseling Department at the Deanship of Student Affairs Office on Monday organized an awareness seminar on the harmful effects of drugs.

The event featured the Anti-Narcotics Department Director Brig. Gen. Anwar Tarawneh, Chairman of the Department of Private Law at the Faculty of Law Dr. Ashraf Adwan, Director of the National Center for the Rehabilitation of Addicts under the Ministry of Health, Dr. Jamal Anani.

An exhibition was held on the sideline of the event, displaying the different types and categories of drugs, drug delivery mechanisms and trafficking methods.

The seminar included a video about a synthetic drug known as "Joker", an extremely dangerous drug in which cannabis is sprayed with deadly chemicals.
