Within the University of Jordan's (UJ) latest initiative to develop the pedagogical process and shift from traditional education to blended-learning, a series of workshops were recently organized for faculty members to introduce a new package of mandatory courses and the different applications of blended-learning.
UJ President Prof. Ahmad Majdouba said the purpose of the workshops was to address UJ's latest plans to introduce a new set of mandatory courses, and to shift from teaching to learning and from theory to practice.
Majdouba explained that the new package of courses is of two main categories: preparatory or foundation program; and the University's compulsory and elective requirements.
The workshops were delivered by Prof. Majdouba, Dr. Hamza Al-Khawaldeh, and Edraak representative Walid Badar.
