School of Shari’a Celebrates Prophet’s Birthday

On the occasion of Prophet Mohammad’s birthday and under the patronage of the University of Jordan (UJ) President Prof. Abdul Karim Al Qudah, the School of Shari’a organized a seminar entitled "a Messenger of Mercy and Humanity".

The seminar, which was hosted by Dr. Hayam Al- Zaydaniyen Saudi, featured experts on Al-sīra al-Nabawiyya (Prophetic biography) to highlight the moral aspects and ethics of the Prophet (peace be upon him).

The Dean of the School of Shari’a Prof. Adnan Assaf, during his talk, discussed the School’s approach in spreading the Prophet's message through the academic curriculum and the moderate Islamic thought, and its objective to raise a generation that is aware and carries the true message of Islam. 

For his part, Professor of Hadith at the Department of Foundations of Religion Dr. Mohammad Eid Al-Sahib warned from following campaigns that aims at distorting the image of Islam and Muslims. He emphasized the importance of facing these campaigns through applying the Islamic morality.
