The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in coordination with the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan (UJ) organized a panel discussion entitled: "From Innovation to Investment: The Saudi Experience as a Model".
The event featured Dr. Mazen Al Zaidi, Head of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), and Managing Director of Intellectual Property Commercialization Office (IPCO), Dr. Mohammed Al-Jaafari.
In his address, Al Zaidi explained the major components of a successful business plan, effective techniques in presenting innovative ideas, factors that contribute to the success of a business project and the difficulties that may face entrepreneurs.
For his part, Al-Jaafari addressed the importance of composing a common investment policy based on a knowledge value chain and the maturity of the project.
The event was attended by Dr. Ashraf Bani Mohammed, Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, and the Dean of King Abdullah II School of Information Technology Dr. Amjad Hudaib.
