The activities of the 13th annual and 3rd international conference of the School of Dentistry at the University of Jordan (UJ) kicked off Friday with a wide participation of academics and dentists from Jordan and abroad.

Held virtually under the patronage of UJ President Prof. Abdul Karim Al Qudah, the two-day conference is organized under the theme: "Excellence: Prevention, Treatment and Esthetics ".

The conference, according to its president and dean of the school Prof. Ahmad Hamdan, discusses, within four sessions, the importance of scientific research in achieving health, preventive and curative goals to reach high living standards, through specialized papers dealing with the latest scientific and research developments in the field of dentistry.

Experts, specialists and academics from the USA, United Kingdom, Brazil, Turkey and a number of Arab countries are participating in the conference, in addition to professors and specialists from various clinical disciplines of dentistry in Jordan, as well as dentistry students, alumni, and interns.
