The International Affairs Unit at the University of Jordan (UJ) on Sunday organized a workshop for the “HEALING” project teams from partner universities in Jordan and Tunisia, and the University of Osijek in Croatia.

 

This workshop is part of the training to develop capacities of the team members to implement the packages of the Diploma on Art Therapy in Health Education program.

 

The HEALING project mainly aims to represent and encourage the development of Arts Therapy education in partner countries, in particular, to design professional educational program (e-learning package) that will enable all staff and students working with patients with long term conditions to offer their patients art-based therapeutic activities.

 

The training was attended by a number of faculty members from the schools of medicine, arts and rehabilitation sciences at the University of Jordan and the local partner universities.
