The University of Jordan (UJ) President, Prof. Nathir Obeidat, patronised a grand ceremony organised to recognize top students in the international program, in presence of envoys and cultural attachés of a number of Arab and foreign countries.
 
In his address at the event, Obeidat said that UJ strives to support students and assure their success by providing high-quality education while taking into account challenges that higher education faces internationally as a result of the quick changes brought on by technology and the Corona pandemic.

 

For her part, Director of the International Affairs Unit, Prof. Hadeel Yaseen, emphasised the crucial role played and continues to be played by the unit, which has served as the university's international arm since its founding in 2001, in accordance with the university's vision to be a smart global and distinguished university.
 
In turn, Director of the International Program, Alumni and Marketing Unit, Dr. Zaid Obeidat, explained services the unit offers to prospective students. Along with ensuring that international students have a positive experience at the university by offering them services such as registration and accommodation and many other services. He also added that the Unit is in charge of promoting and marketing the University regionally and internationally.
 
At the end of the ceremony, which was attended by the chairman of UJ's Board of Trustees, Prof. Adnan Badran, Vice Presidents, school deans, directors of units, centers and units, faculty members and students, the International Program Unit displayed a video featuring a number of international students from all disciplines. The ceremony also featured performances students from the Music Department performed and the president of the university honoured the first international students.
