The futsal tournament for the 2018 season, organized by UJ Club in cooperation with the Department of Sports and Activities, has recently concluded.

The final match resulted in the winning of the University Hospital team over the Department of Services team by 3-2.

Prof. Abdel-Karim Al-Qudah, UJ President, crowned the winning team as champions and handed them the trophy and gold medals.  He also honored Jamal Al-Zu’bi as the best player of the year, Usama Abu Rumman as the best goalkeeper, as well as the referees Abdul Majeed Badr and Monther Qaylat.

The tournament, which was held on the grounds of the Sports Activity Department, lasted for nine days. The remarkable development of the sports teams in terms of fitness and skills was apparent.

President of UJ Club Hamza Al-Faouri said that the sports meetings are an effective tool for positive communication among the members of UJ. He expressed his appreciation to the university administration for its continuous support for the club's various activities.

This tournament included sport teams representing faculty members, the School of Arts and Design, Deanship of Student Affairs, the Information Technology Center, Jordan University Library, the University Hospital, the School of Engineering and University security department.
