UJ Chemical Engineering Students Win International Competition

Four students from the Chemical Engineering Department, School of Engineering at the University of Jordan (UJ), has won the Gold Award of the Final Year Project and Postgraduate Poster Competition (FYPPPC), Series 2/2020, which took place recently in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The students won for their project titled: "Computer-Aided Process Design and Economic Evaluation of Glycerol Etherification Process," in the (Degree Final Year Project, Science, Engineering, and Technology) category.
The project was proposed and supervised by the Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Menwer Attarakih, and implemented the students Heba Duke, Rahaf Hanoun, Dana Alamat, and Christeen Salameh, using the CHEMCAD software.
