UJ Law Students Qualify to International Rounds of Price Media Moot Court

Leen Masadeh, Rahaf Shneikat, and Leilak Al Assadi, Yasmin Al Alami will be representing UJ at the International rounds of the Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition.

 

The team, which is supervised by Dr. Laith Nasrawin, qualified for the international rounds after competing at the fifth and last of the Regional Rounds for the 2016 Price Moot Court Competition -  Middle East Rounds - in Cairo.

 

The Middle East Rounds gathered 6 teams from 4 different countries including Jordan, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Egypt.

 

The 2016 International Rounds of the 9th annual Price Media Law Moot Court Competition will take place in Oxford, England from 30 March until 2 April 2016.

 

UJ President Prof. Ekhleif Tarawneh met and congratulated the team, encouraging them to keep up their efforts and to put their determination to succeed.

 

The Price Media Law Moot Court Programme was established in 2008 with the first International Rounds in Oxford in order to foster an interest in international law governing freedom of expression issues.
